Abstract

This study presents a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) on the use of assistive technologies based on computer vision with potential for adaptation to inclusive education. The investigation covers publications from 2020 to 2025 and aims to identify solutions designed for people with disabilities and analyze their applicability in educational contexts. Eight studies were analyzed, addressing systems for mobility assistance, visual signal recognition, image description, and assistive communication. The main challenges include technical limitations of devices, a lack of educational adaptations, and insufficient teacher training. Nevertheless, the reviewed works highlight the potential of computer vision to promote autonomy and accessibility, reinforcing the need for future research exploring its direct application in inclusive pedagogical practice.
