Modelagens conceitual e lógica para data warehousing baseadas na integração de ontologia e matriz de barramento

Abstract


Data warehouse is a decision support solution whose technology is well practiced. However, conceptual and logical modeling are not well described in the literature, as they do not address how to use the characteristics of the domain and how they can be applied to generate queries with the user's language. In this sense, this paper presents a new approach to multidimensional modeling, based on the integration of ontology and the bus matrix and, based on a dimensional algebra. The objective was to represent the details of the domain in dimensions and facts, to faithfully represent the business processes in multidimensional consultations. As a result, a roadmap for the construction of an ontology for the conceptual model was presented, linked to a dynamic bus matrix to guide the logical model and, to take advantage of the domain requirements in the language and notion of the user and to mirror business processes in the queries multidimensional.
