LARA, Sistema de Automação de Ar Condicionado para a Universidade Estadual do Piauí
Abstract
It was found a problem of energy waste in the AC (air conditioning) of UESPI classrooms, in the Parnaíba Campus. This problem directly affects the increase in the energy bill and shortens the life of the devices. The objective of this work is to propose an automatic system to control the electric power consumption of these devices, using NodeMCU board, and some components. The hours of operation of a AC with and without the prototype, both of the same configuration, installed in the same classroom for 30 days were collected. Individual AC consumption was calculated for the hours they remained on. The results showed a significant savings of 41.33 reals.
