Performance Analysis of 5G Network in Castanhal: A Detailed Study of Antennas and Connection Quality
Abstract
This paper presents an analysis of the performance of the 5G network in the city of Castanhal-PA, where in-person visits were carried out to a sample of stations, using a smartphone with software to collect download, upload, latency, jitter and packet loss data. For each station, three measurements were made. The collected data was organized in a spreadsheet for statistical analysis. Comparisons were made between stations and also between operators. The results indicated that operator V presented the best performance, despite having the lowest coverage in the city. General users should experience a rate of 634.1 Mbps which can be influenced by several factors.
