Post-MVP Evolution: Advances and Improvements in an Environmental Management Support Solution
Abstract
Environmental consulting firms face challenges in managing diverse clients and complex projects, where efficient data management is essential for success. However, a lack of specialized tools often leads to data loss and manual work, reducing effectiveness. This study addresses this gap by refining a previously developed environmental management system (MVP) using an action research approach. Grounded in Soft Systems Methodology (SSM), the evolved system significantly improved data management efficiency and accuracy. It resolved bugs, added features, and introduced new solutions, enhancing the consulting process. User feedback confirmed its usability and relevance, highlighting its potential to transform environmental consulting practices.
