Abstract

Fingerprint recognition algorithms are complex and interdependent processes with multiple stages. The efficiency of each stage affects the quality of the subsequent ones, necessitating optimization at every step. Recently, Artificial Intelligence (AI) has played a pivotal role in improving these processes. This paper specifically evaluates AI's impact on the final stage, which involves determining the similarity between input fingerprints and those stored in a database, ultimately identifying the source finger. The paper discusses the use of intelligent models and presents the achieved results. In conclusion, it underscores the vital role of AI in advancing and refining traditional fingerprint analysis algorithms.
