Usability of a Digital Repository with Educational Resources on Life, Death, and Digital Legacy

Abstract

Introduction: Digital legacy is one of the topics discussed in Human-Computer Interaction; engaging with taboos related to death in contemporary Western society. In this context; the “Dados Além da Vida” research group identified the absence of a Brazilian digital repository on the subject and developed one containing educational materials; freely accessible and aimed at educators. Objective: To present the results of usability tests of "DAVI na Escola" repository; conducted with 7 teachers. Methodology: This is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. Results: The tests indicated improvements in the system and content. The repository is expected to contribute to reflections on death; mourning; and digital legacy in the school environment.
