Communicability in user comments: proposal and evaluation of an extension of the MALTU model
Abstract
Introduction: Although it is common to analyze user comments on usability, the same does not happen with communicability. Objectives: The main objective of this work is to propose an extension of the MALTU model to allow evaluators to also evaluate the communicability of systems. Methodology: For this, the use and evaluation of this extension was proposed by six external evaluators, specialists in MALTU or MAC. Preliminary results: In the evaluation, it was demonstrated that the symptom table helps in the identifcation of breakdowns. Some labels have high agreement such as “I give up” or “Help”. The proposed extension be a useful alternative for contexts with little access to real users.
