PadimPet: a solution to encourage animal sponsorship
Abstract
Animal abandonment is a problem present in many countries and difficult to solve. Among possible alternatives to circumvent this problem, sponsorship stands out as an option for those who cannot raise an animal at home. This article is based on a survey conducted through an online form with 91 people, performing an analysis of the responses to identify points that encourage sponsorship. Based on the information obtained, it was proposed a solution that combines application and embedded systems to promote interaction between shelter and sponsor, as well as the monitoring of sponsored animals.
