Abstract


This paper presents the Usability and Software Engineering research group (USES) from the Federal University of Amazonas. The USES group research aims to develop solutions in the areas of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and Software Engineering (SE) that benefit both academia and the software industry. Among our research activities, we highlight the characterization of solutions to: (i) develop interactive systems focusing on the software process quality and quality in use of these systems, (ii) support the teaching of software models and (iii) support management activities during the development of such systems.
