Evidence-Based Education: Development of an Open Platform for Data Analysis of the Federal Program Criança Alfabetizada

Abstract


This study presents the development and application of DataEduca, an open-source platform aimed at educational data analysis, designed to support the implementation of Evidence-Based Education (EBE). The tool was applied in the municipality of Santo Augusto, RS, involving 135 students from the 3rd to 5th grades, within the context of the federal program Criança Alfabetizada. DataEduca enabled the creation of individualized pedagogical reports, providing personalized study plans to address learning gaps and allowing continuous monitoring of students' academic progress. As a contribution, the platform facilitates the use of educational data for more effective pedagogical decision-making. The acceptance evaluations of the tool will be conducted in the future. This study highlights the potential of the technology to optimize pedagogical practices and recommends further testing in different educational contexts.
