Abstract

In Brazil, approximately 82.6 million tons of solid waste are generated annually, with less than 4% being recycled. The improper disposal of solid waste and the need for effective recycling practices pose growing challenges. This project proposes a mobile application with three main modules: the first for registering recyclable items by individuals, the second for companies to donate reusable waste, and the third for anonymous reporting of illegal dumping. The app aims to facilitate waste management, promote recycling, and raise environmental awareness, offering an integrated and practical solution for the community.
