The Brazilian Symposium on Databases (SBBD) is an event held by SBC since 1986, has brought together researchers, students, and professionals from Brazil and abroad, who present and discuss topics related to the last advances in the area. Traditionally, SBBD has gathered around 500 participants and is the most prestigious symposium in Latin America for the presentation and discussion of research results related to the field of databases. The Proceedings of SBBD are published yearly, bringing the articles selected for each edition of the event.
