Abstract

This study analyzes accidents on Brazilian federal highways with data from the DPRF (2019-2023) with the aim of answering four research questions. The methodology used was exploratory and quantitative research using Business Intelligence techniques. The results indicate that weather conditions have little influence on the occurrence of traffic accidents. However, a significant increase in the number of accidents was observed during weekends and after 5 pm.
