Firewall Reigns – An Educational Game Aimed at the Digital Culture Axis of BNCC Computing
Abstract
BNCC Computação, published in 2022, provides instructions on how to work with computing in basic education. As it is recent, there are not yet many materials available in the literature that adapt to this new demand. Therefore, this article describes the development of an educational game that covers elementary education in the Digital Culture axis of BNCC Computação. The game brings dynamic decision-making about digital security. To verify the effectiveness of the artifact, an educational game evaluation model was used, bringing promising results in relation to motivation, user experience and knowledge. Therefore, this work presents itself as material to support the teaching-learning of computing content in basic education.
