Teaching Digital Culture in Youth and Adult Education: an open conversation

Abstract


This proposal outlines a discussion circle aimed at promoting the inclusion of Computing, particularly Digital Culture (DC), in Adult and Youth Education (AYE). The methodology is based on Freirean principles, focusing on active and equitable participation among educators, encouraging the sharing of experiences and reflection on pedagogical practices. Evaluations at the end of the discussion circle and post-event, along with the creation of an online group, aim to support the implementation of strategies and ongoing support among participants. In addition to the data gathered, an online questionnaire will assess teachers' computing knowledge, seeking to improve educational projects.
