Resignifying the indigenous-origin game "Cat's Cradle" for teaching computing in basic education

Abstract


This proposal presents a reframing of the game of indigenous origin "cat's bed" as a resource for introducing computing concepts in basic education in accordance with the National Common Curricular Base. It is presented how a playful activity can be adapted to promote different skills, encouraging the learning of computational fundamentals, problem solving and teamwork.
