Abstract

This paper describes the development and evaluation of the interactive platform for the projection of serious exergames, “T-TEA”, for people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and the game “RepeTEA”. Using computer vision and conventional equipment (video projector, computer and camera), the T-TEA platform detects the player's interaction with the game without the need for sensors or extra control devices. The RepeTEA game was developed with the involvement of autism specialists, people with ASD, game designers and engineers (total of 41 specialists) and helps developing motor, attention, and memory skills.
