Play-to-earn: Desmistificando ganhos e riscos de jogos NFT

Resumo


Jogos atrelados à blockchain e que utilizam NFTs (non-fungible tokens) vem ganhando popularidade na indústria. A maioria deles segue um modelo de negócio de play-to-earn (P2E), que promete aos jogadores ganhar dinheiro enquanto jogam. Devido a isso, esses jogos são frequentemente associados à esquemas de pirâmide e golpes. Várias informações circulam sobre esses jogos e sistemas, sobretudo a respeito de seus riscos. Este trabalho busca esclarecer dúvidas a respeito dos jogos NFT e levantar as possibilidades, riscos e desafios que apresentam aos desenvolvedores e jogadores.
