Multimodal interactive software architecture directed to serious rehabilitation games
Abstract
Serious Games (SG) have been little concerned with flexibility/equivalence, complementarity and monitoring. These functionalities are necessary for health S G. No existing SG’s architecture include these three functionalities altogether. This research has developed a software architecture for the creation of SG with all three functionalities. A SG was adapted and therapy-related devices were built. Health and Technology professionals have found that the upgraded S G has been able to acquire the functionalities of flexibility/equivalence, complementarity and monitoring and that these are really important and necessary functionalities for SG.
