Abstract

This research aimed to expose the use of games that support the appreciation of the indigenous culture of the Kokama ethnic group. The games were developed by the students, based on the customs and traditions of the Kokama culture, in addition to sprites characteristic of the Amazon region. These games were applied, through playtest, to students in the last years of elementary school at Escola Municipal Rural Indígena Santa Cruz. The results obtained show that the students identified with the characters and environments of the games, strengthening and valuing the culture of their ethnicity.
