Application of Project Management Techniques for game development: a Case Study
Abstract
This article presents a case study to assess the feasibility of using project management tools in the development of a specific video game. The study discusses the utilization of tools such as the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and the WBS Dictionary, the Program Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT), the Critical Path Method (CPM), the Project Schedule, Risk Analysis and Forecasting, and Quality Management. By applying these tools, effective project planning, resource allocation, risk mitigation, and quality assurance were achieved. The article provides insights into the practical implications of using PMBOK tools and offers recommendations for their successful implementation in similar projects.
