Games and the Environment

Abstract

The representation of the environment and nature is a complex and little-explored debate in the world of games. However, exploring this gap and filling it becomes an important task. Therefore, this investigation aims to carry out an exploratory bibliographical study on digital games and the environment with the aim of including discussions on the topic. Preliminary results indicate the possible roles and cultural influence of games on the perception of nature and also suggest possible paths for future research.

Keywords: digital games, environment, science communication, social representation
