Avaliação de um aplicativo educacional por usuários da terceira idade: um estudo de caso com o Duolingo
Abstract
The increase in life expectancy leads to the need to offer leisure and education options for the elderly. Many applications are already available; however, it is necessary to assess whether they are suitable for use by older people. In this context, this work aims to identify positive and negative points of the interaction of the older user with the Duolingo application. We conducted semi-structured interviews and observation activities for data collection with 14 older participants. Data analysis was qualitative through content analysis. The results of this study may serve as a reference for adapting other applications to the specific needs of older people.
