QPS - Software Product Quality Assessment Model: Initial Results
Abstract
The quality of a software product should be seen in a broader manner and take into account four important dimensions: Software Engineering, Service, Product Quality and Organizational. Standards and maturity models address elements of these dimensions but none of them consider all of them to evaluate software products in a broad and holistic way. That leads organizations to use different models to evaluate their procedural and organizational diversity. In this paper, we present the QPS model, which allows the evaluation of software products quality, and the first results of its implementation and assessments in Brazilian organizations.References
