Abstract

DRM systems impose to the user several restrictions and limiting on the use of e-books. Smart Contracts have great potential for application in DRM systems in order to guarantee copyright, without prejudice to the consumers freedom. The proposed model intends to align the idea of the lending or selling digital files and the concept of automatic management of copyrights using Smart Contracts.
