NutrinPrice: a collaborative platform for the selection of pharmaceutical products
Abstract
Part of the population is nutritionally deficient due to poor eating conditions. The cost of food products and the lack of knowledge about nutrients are relevant factors for malnutrition. Selecting low-cost, nutritionally rich products is a challenge. This work proposes a platform for capturing, organizing, and visualizing data and prices of consumed products. Through the collaboration of users and supermarkets, the solution seeks to provide information about the products to support their selection. As a result, we aim to mitigate the problem of malnutrition in society. A feasibility study was conducted using captured data.
