Is My Team Doing Well? Dashboards for Monitoring Software Development Teams
Abstract
Effective collaboration is crucial to the success of software development, especially when it comes to monitoring quality metrics in agile environments. However, the fragmentation of data can pose challenges. In this study, we explore how dashboards can be used as a vital tool in supporting quality teams in product monitoring. We identified relevant metrics through semi-structured interviews and collected feedback over a three-week period through a discussion group and a TAM (Technology Acceptance Model) survey. The results not only contribute to business intelligence and quality management but also highlight the effectiveness of dashboards as a collaborative solution. This research provides new opportunities for future studies and emphasizes the importance of ongoing improvements to increase replicability and strengthen the collaborative approach in software development.
