An Approach Based on Social Network Analysis to Enhance Social Presence in a Collaborative Learning Environment
Abstract
Tracking social interactions in Collaborative Learning Environments (CLEs) with an increasing number of collaborative tools, some of them extending the limits of the CLE, offering the proper support in real time for the students is one of the most intense and exhaustive challenges that online teachers face. The general objective of this work was to investigate how a comprehensive monitoring approach of learners' social interactions in Amadeus-SIMM positively impacted teacher perception and mediation to promote an improvement in learners' online social presence.References
