Abstract

In 2004, the Brazilian government launched the “Popular Pharmacy Program of Brazil” (Programa Farm´acia Popular do Brasil – PFPB). Although the PFPB was expanded across along the years, several difficulties are still found by citizens seeking popular pharmacy drugs. One of them is the visualization of its medicine availability. Aiming at overcoming these difficulties, it is proposed in this work a collaborative computer system capable to locate PFPB accredited establishments with its respective available popular drugs, facilitating their visualization by citizens while monitoring the availability of these drugs.
