The Proceedings of the 14th Brazilian Symposium on Information and Computational Systems Security (SBSeg 2014) bring the papers selected and presented in the edition of the event held in Belo Horizonte/MG, from November 03-06, 2014. In this issue, the proceedings include 22 full papers and 11 short papers. These papers were selected through a double-blind review, from a total of 66 full papers and 26 short papers submitted, which implied an acceptance rate of 33,3% and 42,3%, respectively. The event's program committee was coordinated by Diego F. Aranha (UNICAMP) and Marinho P. Barcellos (UFRGS), who organized this volume. The full papers in this volume were submitted on 07/04/2014, and accepted for publication on 08/23/2014, with the final version submitted on 09/09/2014. The short papers in this volume were submitted on 09/08/2014 and accepted for publication on 09/19/2014.
