E-FLOW PROJECT: Integration of Software Requirements Engineering with Business Process Management

Abstract


Process automation is a solution used by many organizations in order to reduce costs and contribute to quality assurance in their products and services. However, those that work with software development often face the difficulty of generating, at the end of the development process, a product that fully meets the needs of their users and customers. Given this reality, this work aims to propose an environment for requirements engineering integrated with business process management, for small projects. The proposed environment, called E-flow Project, consists of a process for requirements engineering based on the Rational Unified Process (RUP) and a tool to automate and manage this process.
