The Evolution of Human Communication and Interaction: from the Web to the Semantic Web
Abstract
This article presents concepts related to the Semantic Web, addressing the changes it may cause in some segments after its after its complete development. To support this discussion, we initially describes how the Web has revolutionized areas such as e-Business and eCommerce e-Business, e-Science, Knowledge Management, and Distance then, in the sequence, present the benefits that the Semantic Web can still bring to Semantic Web can still bring to these same areas. The article does not intend to to expose any tool or technology developed, but to disseminate the potential potential use of the Semantic Web in the scientific community.
