Proceedings of the Seminar on Computing at the University

The Proceedings of the 38th Seminar on Computing at the University (SECOMU 2008) bring the papers from the event held in Belém/PA, Brazil, from July 12 to 18, 2008, as part of the 28th Congress of the Brazilian Computing Society (CSBC 2008), which had the theme "Great Challenges of Computing." In this edition, the proceedings include 6 papers written for the Presidents' Memory Panel: SBC 30 Years. This volume was organized by Roberto S. Bigonha (UFMG), João Weyl (UFPA), and José Carlos Maldonado (USP), the event coordinators.
