Leitora RFID automática com multiconectividade para pecuária de precisão
Abstract
Brazil is the largest meat exporter and will obtain certification as a country free of foot-and-mouth disease without vaccination in the coming years, a worrying scenario in border areas. Thus, it will be necessary to implement systems to detect fever in animals, the first symptom of foot-and-mouth disease. Cattle breeders use RFID transponders on animals, which identify and measure their temperatures. The available models of RFID readers, used to read the transponders, have many limitations. Given the above, we have developed an RFID reader with multi-connectivity, which sends data to different destinations in the cloud, being a serviced subsystem for building systems that help producers in decision making related to animal health.
