Abstract

Most of the digital games have been designed, developed, and interpreted as artifacts that establish a relationship between one or more players and the application. However, with the advent of socioenactive systems, digital games can be extended on two levels: that of digital artifacts as a computational system in isolation, to reflect social aspects and the physical world of users; and the socioenactive itself, which articulates the digital, physical and social dimensions through physical artifacts. This study reports on the extension of a digital game about adapted sports and the two proposed extensions. It is estimated that, being the first experience presenting a proposal of the digital game as one artifact of the socioenactive triad (digital-physical-social), this study contributes to these artifacts providing opportunities not only in the digital context but also in the physical-social.
