Co-UserX Stories: An Approach for Usability / User Experience (UX) Evaluation

Abstract


Digital transformation requires high-quality, effective, and efficient products, increasing the importance and need to have products that meet good recommendations regarding usability and UX. Integrating the perspectives of evaluators and designers in this process is a challenge. This work proposes Co-UserX Stories, an approach supported by a tool that helps evaluate the usability/UX of websites. Co-UserX Stories implements the Evaluative Co-Inspection technique, calculating relevant metrics such as success rate, task time, and lost clicks. The tool under development seeks to offer benefits such as ease of use and agility in the evaluation process; its preliminary results indicate feasibility.
