The Proceedings of the 44th Integrated Software and Hardware Seminar (SEMISH 2017) bring the papers selected and presented in the edition of the event held in São Paulo/SP, Brazil, from July 02 to 06, 2017, as part of the 37th Congress of the Brazilian Computing Society (CSBC 2017), whose theme was "Computing for Everything and Everyone".
