Os Provérbios em manuais de ensino de Português Língua Não Materna
Abstract
Proverbs present a wide variety of structures and may serve many communicative purposes. Due to their cultural and linguistic richness, they can be used to attain different didactic objectives, specifically in foreign language teaching. In this paper, we investigate how proverbs are in fact used in a corpus of Portuguese as Foreign Language (PFL) textbooks, using natural language processing (NLP) tools and resources. Results will be compared with previous findings on a corpus of Portuguese textbooks for native speakers.
