Meta-model for Organizational Change in Software Process Improvement
Abstract
Change involves process, people, skills, organizational culture and leadership, among other topics that include the critical factors to be observed for a successful change. This paper presents a conceptual meta model for organizational change, which is able to represent the important concepts involved with organizational change in a software process improvement (SPI) initiative such as stakeholders, resistance and competence. A case study was applied in a software process improvement initiative in an organization to assess the meta model applicability.
