The Proceedings of the 6th Workshop on Social, Human and Economic Aspects of Software (WASHES 2020) bring the papers selected and presented in the online edition of the event, on July 18 to 23, as part of the 41st Brazilian Computing Society Congress (CSBC 2021) which had the theme "Innovation and Digital Transformation: Facing the Complexity and Uncertainties of the Contemporary World". In this issue, the proceedings include 4 full papers and 3 short papers. These papers were selected through a double-blind peer-review process, from a total of 19 full papers and 3 short papers submitted, which implied an acceptance rate of 21% for full papers. The event's program committee was coordinated by Awdren Fontão (UFMS) and Flávio Horita (UFABC), who organized this volume. The articles in this volume were submitted on April, 16, accepted for publication on May, 21, with the final version submitted on June, 4.
