The Brazilian Workshop on Smart Cities (WBCI) aims to be a national forum for bringing together Brazilian researchers, industry and government, in order to foster the exchange of experiences in the various aspects of ICTs relevant to the area. It is also intended to contribute to foster research and promote discussions focusing on improving factors that today concern the inhabitants of most Brazilian cities, such as education, mobility, public safety, health, among other topics. WBCI Proceedings are published annually.
