Uma proposta de integração semântica para a Infraestrutura Nacional de Dados Espaciais usando geo-ontologias

Resumo


O potencial de uso das geoinformações para as ações e políticas governamentais tem sido cada vez mais explorado em iniciativas mundiais e pesquisas, facilitadas pelos recursos tecnológicos da Web 2.0. A crescente demanda por geoinformações e a multiplicação de provedores de diversos temas têm ampliado a importância da Infraestrutura Nacional de Dados Espaciais (INDE) para ordená-los e a criação de uma sociedade geo- habilitada. Mas a necessidade de agregar capacitação semântica aos recursos disponíveis em infraestruturas de dados espaciais tem sido um entrave. Esta proposta tem como objetivo mitigar alguns dos problemas de integração semântica da geoinformação para a INDE, através do uso de geo-ontologias.
