TV 3.0: Um Estudo sobre Core DTV+ na Nuvem
Resumo
The digital broadcasting ecosystem is undergoing a significant transformation driven by the convergence of cloud computing, adaptive streaming protocols, and next-generation transmission standards such as ATSC 3.0 and DTV+. This study presents a review of recent advancements in the transition from traditional broadcasting infrastructures to cloud-based architectures. From a curated selection of recent academic and technical literature, the goal is to analyze how modern broadcast systems are evolving to support IP-based delivery, low-latency media workflows, and hybrid broadcast–broadband services. Particular attention is given to cloud-based media managing, DASH and ROUTE-based streaming solutions, and the virtualization of terrestrial broadcasting components. We also explore the implications of these developments on the scalability, interoperability, and flexibility of future digital TV systems, with a focus on both international standards and proposals relevant to the Brazilian DTV context. This work aims to map current trends, identify open challenges, and provide insights for future research and implementation strategies in the ongoing evolution of television broadcasting.
