The Companion Proceedings of the 31th Brazilian Symposium on Multimedia and Web (WebMedia 2026) bring the papers selected and presented in the Contests and workshops of the edition of the event held in Rio de Janeiro/RJ, from November 10th to 14th, 2025. The 7th Thesis and Dissertation Contest (CTD) received 20 paper submissions, of which 5 master's dissertations and 6 doctoral theses were selected for the final stage, in which they compete for the awards of Best Master's Dissertation and Doctoral Thesis. The 24rd Workshop on Tools and Applications (WFA) received 38 submissions. At the end of the review process, 20 tools or applications were selected for presentation and publication. The 8th Workshop on the Future of Interactive Digital TV (WTVDI) received 12 submissions, 11 of which were selected for presentation and publication in the event proceedings. The 5th Undergraduate Research Contest (CTIC) received 21 submissions. At the end of the review process, 13 works were selected for presentation and publication. WebMedia for Everyone (W4E) received a total of 14 papers and, at the end of the review process, 7 papers were selected for publication in the event's proceedings. Finally, this volume also includes papers accepted and presented at the 1st Brazilian Workshop on Web3 Systems (BrWeb3), which received 14 submissions, 8 of which were selected for presentation and publication in the event proceedings. Guedes (Reading, UK), Kamila Rios da Hora Rodrigues (USP), Leo Sampaio Ferraz Ribeiro (USP), Bruna Carolina Rodrigues da Cunha (USP) e Antonio José Grandson Busson (BTG Pactual), and the publication chairs Roberto Willrich (UFSC) e Eduardo Barrére (UFJF).
