Abstract

Fabrica de Software (i.e. Software Factory) is a kind of environment which makes part of the pedagogical project in the Information Systems Course (BSc Degree) at the Catarinense Federal Institute - Araquari Campus. Its proposal is to serve as a catalyst agent of experiences in the area of teaching, research and extension. Furthermore, it is also intended to provide the students the opportunity to participate in an Information Systems development environment. At the Araquari Campus, the Software Factory completes its first year of operation. This paper presents the first results in the teaching activities of the course, obtained from the use of the Factory environment.
