Comparação do Desempenho entre Dois Conjuntos de Heurísticas de Usabilidade na Identificação de Problemas em Sistemas de Visualização de Informações Geográficas
Abstract
In this study, a comparison was made between Nielsen’s usability heuristics and those specifically designed for Web Interactive Maps, through the evaluation of a geographic data visualization platform. The goal was to analyze the performance of each set of heuristics. The heuristic evaluation was applied to the CulturaEduca platform, resulting in 21 distinct usability problems. These issues were analyzed by an expert who correlated them with the sets of heuristics. The results highlight the complementarity of heuristics for Web Interactive Maps compared to Nielsen’s. However, they indicate the need for a review of the former to eliminate ambiguities and make them more specific for user understanding.
