The COVID-19 Pandemic has a Gender
Abstract
COVID-19 has changed the routine of IT professionals, as well as other areas of industry, market and academia. This paper investigates whether such shifts have distinct gender features, with special attention to women. We conducted a survey with 205 professionals, which enables to assess different impacts on the lives of women. Aspects related to domestic activities, pressure, mental and physical exhaustion are discussed.
