Analysis of the Historical Behavior of the Gender Profile in Computer Courses at UFSC
Abstract
This paper analyzes the profile of students in computer science courses at the UFSC, comparing it with reported behaviors of female gender reversal in other computer science courses and with general data of students in the area in Brazil. In addition, aspects related to race in the evaluated courses are discussed. The mapping of the profile of students in the target institution allows us to plan more efficient actions and policies to increase female inclusion in the area of information technology.
