Abstract

The representation of women in technology has become a priority worldwide, and with this purpose in mind, this article presents an initiative developed for individuals who identify as such, with the goal of increasing the statistics of women in the field by presenting technological concepts. The initiative, called Technological Immersion for Women (TIW), offers teaching of common dialects in the area and presents the great achievements of women who have made their mark in technology. In addition to the various career possibilities, such as game development and data science, it also promotes mutual collaboration through interactive dynamics. In this way, it aims to reverse the traditional logic that women should adapt to a technology environment dominated by men.
